After releasing my “20 Romance Novel Plot Ideas” WSO, I had several pm me and shoot me emails asking me various questions about how I come up with my plots, details on writing, and so on. I decided it was best to actually put it out here rather than answer the same questions repeatedly.
I will stress that most of what I do is romance/action romance type novels, however, you can apply these tactics to any fiction.
At one time, I had the character ideas in mind, but wanted to see if I could find different plot ideas. It was difficult finding anything online! No one really gave any ideas or input on what to do. Yes, eventually the idea came together with those characters, so it worked out.
Now after releasing that WSO revealing 20 of my plot ideas, I had several private messages and emails asking me how I come up with my plots, and other things, which led me to creating this (rather than answering repeatedly) as I mentioned.
